In 1990 Claudio Sanchez, Julian's brother, moved him and his family from California to Southeast
Idaho to become the shop foreman. Claudio had a very important role in developing Sanchez Trucking, Inc. maintenance
department. To this day we are still using all of the programs that he developed in the early stages of the maintenance department.
Claudio continued to be the shop foreman until his retirement in 2006.
Due to Claudio, along with the entire maintenance
crew, and their extremely hard work our vehicle safe-stat is currently at 32.01.
The truck shop handles service and repair on all company trucks and trailers.
The shop has four drive through bays in order for our trained mechanics to get the equipment in and out and back on the road
in adequate time.

Repairs include general services, brakes, tires,
differentials, transmissions, clutches, a/c repair, suspension and electrical. Repairs include everything except major engine
work which we then hire out.

At Sanchez Trucking, Inc. we have a drive through wash bay that has anywhere
from 4-6 wash men at a time. All the equipment is washed at least once a week and we also take on outside wash jobs as well.
In the wash bay a driver can decide whether they want a complete wash job (hand washing the tractor and acid washing the trailers)
or just a spray off. Each driver decides at the time.

Sanchez Trucking, Inc. has also started rebuilding hopper bottom trailers,
fertilizer is a very corrosive commodity and it takes a toll on light weight trailers. We began rebuilding trailers in the
spring of 2007.
After removing the hopper bins and the sides the frame is coated with a corrosive resistant material
and everything gets a fresh new start. In the near future we hope to offer this service to other trucking companies. When
this option because available we will have a new page available for viewing with pricing and options.
All the mechainics and wash men are in charge of keeping
the facility and and equipment as clean as possible.
