Past and Present
Julian and Theresa met when they were teenagers and together they had two children,
Kresta Glaser and Stephen Sanchez. Julian and Theresa are the proud grandparents of three girls, Siara, Aramy and Adli.
Julian started driving truck in the winter of 1971 at the age of 16. He worked for a local farmer and trucker John
L. Smith. Along with the farm work came the hay and grain hauling. Eventually John L. became a grain buyer and seller,
trading grain into Ogden, Utah. The grain hauling eventually led to back-hauling Utah commodities, such as feed and coal,
back into Idaho. As the years passed John L. began getting more into the grain elevator business.

Julian and Theresa bought their first truck in 1981, a 1977 Kenworth A-model, and
Julian continued in what he had been doing with John. Hauling grain, feed and coal to and from Utah. In 1986 John decided
to end his trucking and go solely into the grain business. At this time Julian and Theresa bought the remaining 4
trucks and 6 trailers, along with the shop in Moreland.
In 1992 Sanchez Trucking, Inc. began their Canadian
operations and began hauling fertilizer for different Canadian and US shippers. These operations have continued to this day
leading up to the construction of the new truck terminal in 2004.
